soundcheck: when i'm gone (eminem)
and when i'm gone just carry on
don't moan just rejoice
everytime you hear the sound of my voice
just know that i'm looking down on you smiling
and i didn't feel a thing
so baby don't feel no pain
just smile back
its surprising how much one can learn in just one afternoon..firstly, the best way to prep yourself for a camp physically & mentally for a camp is to go shopping..obviously i'm being dumb, 'cos who needs to prep for a camp? anw it tires you out so much that the only thing you feel like doing for rest of the evening is to eat & rest, which anyone will tell you, is the best thing to do on the eve of camp..mentally 'cos you've bought some stuff so you won't feel deprived & devoid of feelings during e camp..that's not to say i love shopping, but the occasional trip will suffice, thank you v much..
another lesson i learnt is really complex & i still can't seem to grasp it..its mind-boggling how a woman can spend 3 hrs in a warehouse sale, try on 6 pairs of shoes, 4 tops and 7 pants, then decide that she likes NONE of them..i mean, if i don't like how they look, i won't even bother trying them on la..on the other hand, a guy walks into the same warehouse sale and emerges just 20 mins with 3 shirts in hand..really don't understand why certain ppl take forever to decide that they don't feel like buying anything..can't say who that certain person is, if not mummy will kill me....erm....oops? haha..if i don't feel like buying anything then i won't even care to walk into that place..no wonder men are from mars & women are from venus..but if there's anything i agree with women on shopping, retail therapy really works..haha
ahhh..now that shopping for the nxt 6 mths is over & done with, can relax at home with my snickers, skittles & soccer..think this is what i would have for my last meal..haha..going away for camp, so will be reverting to old-school pen & paper for nxt few days..adios..
seem to have forgetten my quote, but here's another irony of my life..all the same i guess..so ironic -twisted even- how you could grow up idolising someone, and all you ever wanted to be in future was him. yet, as you actually grow up, you find that the person that you want to be is the exact opposite of that same someone..
peace..
