such a waste (pun fully intended)

soundcheck: the deafening silence

there isn't much to talk abt other than hockey, so i'll start with the rest first.. as expected, today really zoomed past, just 5 periods and there was the end of sch.. we attempted to smash cream into mrkong's face, but obviously his neck muscles were stronger than the 3 hands pushing down on it.. and me + xl were caught by surprise abt the latest person to get on ppl's nerves.. i sort of thought the same way bef, but it was nonetheless shocking to hear so many others in agreement.. well, whatever, as long as it's not me, i'll just mind my own business..

so now, the focus shifted to delta.. bef i talk abt the matches, i really must say: the councillors just aren't cut out to be leading cheers.. they can't even take cues from the crowd or from the players' reactions or cheer at the apt times and when to shut up.. but of course, the sc also provided some special sightseeing as well.. well, she just has that special look abt her.. haha.. anw rjc retained their title w/o much resistance (big surprise there).. i don't mean to disrespect the IB boys, they played their hearts out, but rj were just too strong.. i never like to wax lyrical abt others, much less rivals, but a couple of the rafflesian set pieces were a joy to watch, really.. sport is really a wicked phenomena, it brings abt totally contrasting emotions with just metres in btwn.. for one, i really felt for farul & co, even though i don't even know him.. it's never a joy to lose in a final, much less one where you do your utmost and still come up short, way short.. but at least the IB boys could face their supporters with their dignity intact, even when they lost their final.. the same can't be said of the other runners-up.. don't get me wrongcaught me off guard was in the aftermath of the match.. i got this from wiki:

one family unbroken? at least the cptn & some of the other seniors were professional & nice enough to put aside the pain & oblige.. oh well..

absence does make the heart grow fonder

aft delta was back to potongpasir, where i found preet praveen and timo on the opp side for once, and i kept goal no less.. haha.. i did my best, so all 4 goals that did go in were just too good.. haha i hear ppl screaming for rematch.. haha.. bring it on!! haha..
