a while back i was asked how i'd react if i knew that certain ppl despised me. i don't suppose it has anything to do with inferiority complexes, since we all suffer from it, one form or another. quite obviously, the 1st and natural reaction wld be anger. human nature. but aft dwelling in it for some period of time, there comes a pt when one would realise that the only logical way to stand up to such feelings fr others would be to suck it all up, and not let it affect you.

of course, it is much easier said than done. don't bother abt how others see you, just focus on yr studies, that's what they all said. but let's see how they deal with it when repeating actually happens to them. if there's anything i learnt fr 7mths of maths tutorials, it is not wise to let them get under yr skin. doing so wld mean they'd have gotten to my head, that they'd won. there is nothing worse than giving these ppl such satisfaction.

so, my new yr's resolution (though much earlier): beat these naysayers. visualise.
