soundcheck: denial feels so good (the spill canvas)
freedom feels quite good :)
was reading some books in the past few days. like 'notes from an even smaller island' by neil humphreys. it should be part of the GP syllabus. haha. basically its just an ang moh's opinion of s'pore. some of it is as usual full of caucasian biasedness. but there are some hilarious snippets. like abt capital punishment and michael fay, he writes
"after all, if its lawmakers chose..not to spare the life of a Filipina maid guilty of two murders in '91, why the hell should they spare some irritating American adolescent from a few strokes of the cane?" quote unquote
haha pure absolut genius.
youtube is also an interesting place. search for the "jerry springer show" and look for the various fights on the show. literally. i'd bet its worth it. haha. there's a white jailbird who insists thomas washington founded America, a pastor who claims the Holocaust is 'just a myth', and many other racist and socially-inept ppl. which just goes to show that perhaps, s'pore is still a better place to live in aft all. for all the stuff abt PAP, at least we don't contend with ignorant racist pisses. god help obama :)
lastly, debates abt soccer never go anywhere. like how stupid liverpool fans go on abt ronaldo diving and acting. so for the record, for every Ronaldo dive, there's a big fat Scouse cheat steven gerard, a middle-finger-pointing-coin-throwing drogba and spanish crybaby fabregas. so there you have it. take that, john molina.
